A Way Home Peterborough Data Measurements


This report was commissioned by the City of Peterborough to report on the A Way Home Peterborough program, a collaborative of community agencies and citizens with the aim of preventing and reducing youth homelessness in Peterborough. Because of their focus on youth homelessness, this report specifically breaks down various pieces of intake information by age group: aged 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-17, 18-24, and 25+.

It includes the following data points:

  • unique clients
  • family membership
  • returns to shelter (intakes)
  • length of stay
  • episodes of homelessness
  • newly identified
  • reason for service
  • referred from
  • geographic region
  • reason for discharge
