This can be configured by your Database Administrator (DBA), or someone with access to make changes directly on the server.
If that describes you, here are the instructions to modify this value:
- Locate your
web.configfile (located in the root folder)
- Search for the string
mailSettings. The matching element should look something like this:
<network host="smtp-mail.outlook.com" port="587" enableSsl="true" password="SMTP_PASSWORD" userName="SMTP_USERNAME" />
- Replace the placeholder text SMTP_EMAIL, SMTP_PASSWORD, and SMTP_USERNAME with the values from your email server
- It may also be necessary to replace the host and port values, but only do so if you are confident in the changes you are making.
