Big improvement from the old HIFIS! Cant wait to try it out but I do like our notebooks and hand writing information. I would think it might feel cold and impersonal to use a computer during an intake. I found Ali Ryder to be very fast and effective communicator! Thanks for the training miss!

The training was very informative and interesting. I think we should have practical demonstration every three month where we can assess situation and come up with more strategies to end homelessness.
I particularly liked the assignment at the end, I find this course (and the last one) gave a really great opportunity to test your knowledge at the end of the course. And thanks for answering my 1 million questions :)

Very Informative and I did enjoy the small group setting.
Having the material broken down into easy-to-follow, manageable steps is really helpful. Otherwise, the volume of material and all of the tasks required for implementing HIFIS can seem overwhelming!
I can not say enough good things about this class, ACRE Consulting and Ali Ryder. This Term really went into detail about a lot of modules in HIFIS and how to configure staff rights to reflect those. It's the attention to detail that makes this course so easy to follow and makes the most confusing things in HIFIS seem simple.
Ali, you are a born Teacher! Clear, fun and relevant. Particularly enjoyed the instructional videos. Bonus: Also, appreciated the Case Study examples that focused on alternative options to maximize the potential effectiveness of HIFIS 4. Well done! (Eager to start Term 3. Lol!) The City of Peterborough Social Services Division launched the Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS 4) in April of 2017 with the support and guidance of ACRE Consulting.
Ali was a pivotal member of the implementation team in the year leading up to the launch, as she guided the team through challenging decision-making processes. She travelled often to our community for meetings, group training and even one-on-one sessions. She was able to articulate the usage of features, the impact of customizations and how to successfully manage system changes.
In the year and a half since our implementation, Peterborough has continued to benefit from the resources provided by ACRE Consulting. Training manuals, user guides and most significantly: reports. Ali has created numerous custom reports that assist us in meeting our reporting requirements, making them invaluable.
ACRE Consulting helps inform the HIFIS community with weekly newsletters and informative articles available on the website. Despite the completion of Peterborough’s contract, Ali remains a constant source of support and advice.
